Branch History
Royans is pleased to be able provide customers in the southern tip of the New Zealand South Island another quality facility within our network.
Our Invercargill branch is across 2 sites, formerly Sievwright Auto Painting and Powderline. Both branches joined the group in May 2022.
Sievwright Auto Painting and Powderline make up Royans’ 28th branch and the 6th in New Zealand at the time of the acquisition.

Royans also offers metal restoration services including professional powder coating available in a range of colours, special effects and finishes. Our powder coating services are applied by industry experts using products from only the best brands like Dulux and AkzoNobel for the best possible results.
WHAT IS POWDER COATING?
Powder coating is a type of coating for your vehicle’s frames, wheels and parts. It is applied in the form of a dry powder – typically a mixture of plastic resins, pigment and fillers. Once the surface is suitably coated, it goes through a curing process using heat. Once cured, the powder will be fused to the surface to create a flawless finish.
WHY POWDER COATING?
Powder coating is durable and doesn’t fade, chip, scratch or peel as quickly as paint does and is rust-resistant. Unlike regular paint, powder coating can be applied in multiple layers without uneven drying, peeling or irregularities in the surface. With the right pre-treatment such as sandblasting, combined with our advanced techniques and equipment, your powder-coated vehicle parts will have a smooth surface and colour that lasts.
